Steinhoff UK Retail, the parent company of Harvey’s Furniture, Bensons for Beds and Concorde Logistics, employs over 3,500 passionate and dedicated staff and trade from over 450 retail stores across the UK.  As a Business we are expanding and opening new stores in our Quest to deliver the Best Customer Experience.

Our inhouse recruitment team are responsible for all the Recruitment across the brands in Retail and Logistics. This covers the 450 Stores, 3 Head Offices, 8 Distribution Centres and 2 Contact Centres.

We have a rare opportunity for a Recruitment Projects Manager to join the Recruitment Team at the Head Office in Accrington, reporting into the National Recruitment Manager.  This is a challenging role. No two days will be the same and you will be working within a Very Successful Team. In the same sense you will be very much part of a big family, all working together to recruit the Best teams for our Brands.

This role will entail taking on Projects within Recruitment to tighten Agency Spend imparticular in the Logistics Sector. This role will also involve visiting the Distribution Centres to meet the Management Teams and streamline their Processes, so flexibility on working hours is essential.

What is expected from our Recruitment Projects Manager:

  • Responsible for the Recruitment of Vacancies, 360 Recruitment
  • Managing the recruitment process from application through to offer stage and onboarding the candidates.
  • Dealing with Key Stakeholders/Directors in the business on a daily basis.
  • Attend Distribution Centres regularly
  • Advise Stakeholders on Best Recruitment Practices.
  • Pro-Active with Recruitment on Social Media – Through Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Implement New Systems and Process across recruitment
  • Completing recruitment Audits

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years experience working in Recruitment, either Agency or In-house
  • We are looking for Characters. Recruitment is a lot about interacting with people. You will need to be an Absolute People Person, love being around and meeting New People Everyday.
  • Experience of working in an Agency or as an Inhouse Recruiter, ideally over 2 years.
  • Experience on PSL Tender with in the Temps Sector
  • Ability to be very organised and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work independently to set Recruitment KPI’s.
  • Be able to bounce back easy from set-backs with a new solution. To be resilient, an essential skill in recruitment.
