Project Manager - Customer Satisfaction Programme (Fixed Term Contract)

Concorde Logistics are the Supply chain provider for Bensons for Beds and Harveys Furniture in the UK. We have 7 Distribution Centres with our largest DC and Head Office in Magna Park, Lutterworth. At Magna Park across the Warehouse and Contact Centre sectors we have over 700+ staff and is the Central Control Point for Operations throughout the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to improve stock integrity. This is a fixed Term Contract of 10 months and will be based at our Magna Park distribution centre. The role will be reporting into the Head of Logistic Operations.

The task will be to deliver change by managing a project designed to improve stock integrity as part of the customer satisfaction programme (CSP). To wrap robust governance around the Stock Integrity project and keep this element of the programme within timescales. Interface with the CSP programme manager to ensure coordination of resource.

  • Organising and running meetings.
  • Benefits realisation through achievement of key deliverables.
  • Preparation on information for the workstream lead, programme manager and steering committee Financial.
  • Cost capture.
  • Savings capture People.
  • Project Team management to achieve end goals whilst maintaining BAU.
  • Changing colleague behaviour through embedding new process.
  • Stakeholder management to achieve end goals whilst maintaining BAU Process.
  • Interpret existing operational processes and develop improvements.
  • Standardise operating procedure documentation.
  • Develop training plans and collateral in conjunction with L&D.
  • Implement appropriate measure to monitor process adherence

Project Manager

Experience required

  • At least 5 years logistics and experience.
  • At least 3 years Project Management experience.
  • Been through full project lifecycle of similar projects.
  • Lead a project team in delivery of a training plan that is Recognised accreditation in project management (PMP, Prince 2, MSP, CAPM).
  • Recognised accreditation within logistics industry (CPC,CMILT).
  • Waterfall and Agile Project Management experience.
  • Project Management experience in retail logistics.
  • Operational experience in logistics.
  • Warehouse Management System experience
