What we are Looking for:

Job Purpose:

To support the Merchandising team in the completion of all tasks relating to the running of the department.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


  • Accurately maintain line cards to ensure availability of stock, in line with business parameters
  • Effectively deal with all queries relating to product, pricing, ranging & system issues
  • To maintain lifecycle SKU status within the PIM and Master Office systems
  • Check that all printed tickets contain accurate information
  • Ensure Internet & store till pricing is accurately maintained at all times
  • Maintain all filing systems & accurate records as needed e.g. Pricing, Orders, Allocations Grading
  • Implementing changes to the store & system grading documents as directed.
  • Raise & maintain orders for store display stock, store openings & refurbishments, this includes maintenance of the store delivery schedule on a weekly basis
  • To support the Assistant Merchandiser in the production of the analytical information required to assist with product ranging & pricing decisions
  • Support the Assistant Merchandiser in the contribution to & validation of each events PIP (Promotion Installation Pack) ensuring the communication of all pricing & ticketing information is accurate

Customers (Merchandising & Supply Chain roles):

  • Engage all external & internal customers by communicating in a friendly & professional manner ensuring that they are left with a lasting positive impression of the department
  • Ensure that any internal/external customer queries or concerns are dealt with in a professional, friendly & courteous manner, following the relevant company guidelines
  • Support an environment and culture within Harveys where the Customer is firmly at the centre of everything that we do
