Job Description

We are actively recruiting for a Brand Marketing Executive for our Brand team, this role is based at our Head Office in Accrington which has access to free parking.

The succesful candidate will be looking to drive consideration of Harveys and Bensons by ensuring both brands stay relevant through planning and briefing content that drives engagement across all customer touch points.

In this role you will drive forward the content plan for social media and blog channels primarily - including research, planning and analysis. You will assist in delivering a fully integrated branded experience across all customer touch-points through regular communication with cross-functional teams. Through research and analysis, you will ensure we are providing the right topical content at the right times to our customers and you will shape the future direction of brand communications, ensuring we are driving results and improving our offering to customers. Through analysis you will recommend changes that inform the future content plan and strategy.

You will be a strong team player with excellent written skills and a creative eye. You will have a passion for interiors, content, social media and you will be an analytical thinker.

Your Key Responsibilities will be: 

Research

  • Social media listening to inform future social strategy and content plan

  • Conduct social media and general online research to inform future content plan

  • Research key trends, topical information and key calendar events to inform future content plan

  • Research key influencers that are suitable to partner with, putting forward solid rationale

Content & Planning

  • Brand content planning and assisting with content strategy development across all channels

  • Be the go to person for anything content related and own the cross-functional content calendar, keeping regularly up-to-date with the content plan at all times

  • Liaison between all cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and providing regular updates on upcoming content and ensuring messaging is aligned across all channels

  • Drive quarterly and monthly content meetings across all cross-functional teams.

Analysis & Measurement

  • Analyse the performance of all brand social media activity – daily posting, campaigns and influencer activity, e.g. engagement, reach, etc.

  • Analyse the performance of all blog content, e.g. engagement levels

  • Analyse the performance of PR coverage in terms of traffic to website and sales

  • Produce regular reports – weekly updates, monthly analysis reports and other ad hoc reports, where necessary, to show the performance of PR and social media and blog channels

  • Based on this analysis, make recommendations for potential future strategy, improvements and opportunities

  • Monitor social media sentiment and flag any changes/risks to the wider team

  • Closely monitor brand social media KPIs to ensure we are hitting all targets

  • Complete benchmark analysis on external companies and competitors to identify new growth opportunities, working with the Brand Marketing Assistant

  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to ensure alignment with paid social activity.

Customer Research

  • Customer segmentation (content and social media), helping to better target activity

  • Support the Brand Manager with customer profiling and segmentation where relevant

  • Assist the Brand Manager with communicating any customer research updates to agencies and the wider business

Other

  • Carry out from time to time and as directed, any other duties as required in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within your capabilities

  • Support across PR, blog and social media posting, where required

  • May be required to attend store events / PR events, where required

  • Team support where relevant.

We are looking for at least three years experience in B2C offline marketing or similar role

Social Media experience in a career capacity 

Experience of content planning, performance analysis and measurement are a must.
