Inhouse Logistics Recruitment Resourcer

Harvey’s Furniture and Bensons for Beds, employs over 3,500 passionate and dedicated staff and trade from over 450 retail stores across the UK.  .

Our inhouse recruitment team are responsible for all the Recruitment across the brands in Retail and Logistics. This covers the 450 Stores, 3 Head Offices, 7 Distribution Centres and 1 Contact Centre.

We have a rare opportunity for a Logistics Recruitment Resourcer to join the Recruitment Team at the Head Office in Accrington, reporting into the Resourcing Manager.  This is a challenging role. No two days will be the same and you will be working within a Very Successful Team. In the same sense you will be very much part of a big family, all working together to recruit the Best teams for our Brands.

What is expected from our Recruitment Resourcer:

  • Responsible for high volume recruitment of Warehouse, Drivers and Drivers Mates throughout the 7 Distribution Centres within the UK performing a full 360 Recruitment service.
  • Dealing with Key Stakeholders/Directors in the business on a daily basis.
  • Attend Regional meetings in your sector.
  • Advise Stakeholders on Best Recruitment Practices.
  • Attend Recruitment Fairs Nationwide throughout the Calendar year.
  • Pro-Active with Recruitment on Social Media – Through Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook.

What we are looking for:

  • We are looking for Characters. Recruitment is a lot about interacting with people. You will need to be an Absolute People Person, love being around and meeting New People Everyday.
  • Vast experience of working in a Logistics consultant role inhouse or through an agency is a must.
  • Ability to be very organised and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work independently to set Recruitment KPI’s.
  • Be able to bounce back easy from set-backs with a new solution. To be resilient, an essential skill in recruitment.
